I play as Shrike. In real life, a shrike is a bird of prey also known as the butcherbird due to its method of impaling its victims on thorns or branches and leaving them there. I think it's a good name for a wargame persona.

Note of Nov. 28, 2004 - Much has happened to this game since I created this page in 2000-01. The game was sold by it's original author, Richard Wolfe, to the folks at Skotos.net and is currrently run as Galactic Emperor: Hegemony. I left the game for a while and have just returned to play again. The community is still small, but the game is still good. I didn't do anything to these pages for quite a while, but recently checked my site logs and found this is still the most popular part - so I'm going to bring it up to date. Thanks for visiting.
